Activision and Raven Software have now released their latest set of Warzone patch notes and one of the most significant changes that’s been introduced with this update is a nerf to the infamous shotgun ammo called Dragon’s Breath. Following the release of the patch, players should start noticing heavy damage reduction when using this ammunition with the KV Broadside and MX Guardian shotguns as these are where a bulk of the nerfs were focused.

According to the official changes made by Raven Software, the developers have apparently decreased the KV Broadside’s Dragon’s Breath close-mid damage, meaning it’ll be much harder to take down enemies from near to average distances. On the other hand, the MX Guardian Dragon’s Breath ammo received a mix of both buffs and nerfs as its maximum damage, close-mid damage, and mid damage were all decreased while its maximum damage range and close-mid damage range were both increased.

With this update having already been released to all platforms, players should have a much easier time playing through Warzone matches since the aforementioned weapons equipped with the Dragon’s Breath ammo often ran rampant throughout the battle royale. But, of course, not everyone will be satisfied with these changes as the players that simply enjoyed equipping these weapons and blasting away at enemies without a care in the world will no longer be able to do so moving forward.

Aside from weakening the Dragon’s Breath ammo, though, these Warzone patch notes also introduced a number of other nerfs to a handful of Assault and Battle Rifles, including the Lachmann-556, the M4, the popular TAQ-56, and the Cronen Squall (Full Auto). The changes to both the Lachmann-556 and Cronen Squall in particular are significant since both of these weapons make up some of the best Warzone 2 ranked loadouts.
