Plenty of controversy has been surrounding Warzone 2 recently due to the drama brought about by innocent players being falsely banned. Now, another similar issue has been brought to light wherein users that reach a specific amount of frags are being shadowbanned.

Based on a post from gaming news aggregator Jake Lucky, Warzone 2 players that successfully reach their tenth kill in a match get disconnected from the lobby and are shadowbanned. A clip attached to the same post shows a player immediately being booted out of a lobby soon after doing so.

Multiple prominent battle royale streamers have also reported similar experiences after reaching the same mark. GUARD Isaac, a well-known Warzone 2 content creator, recently posted a video of the shadowban being handed to his account as he was streaming.

Various Reddit threads have also been made detailing numerous instances of different accounts being shadowbanned. One particular post had this to say about their experience: “Been shadowbanned for 2 weeks unable to play with friends. Finally come back and get three games in before I’m disconnected and, boom, shadowbanned again.”

The same account goes on to note that they never used voice chat in their games and that they only had a total of eight kills in three matches. Some users are speculating that some of these cases may be caused by a large number of users reporting the same account at one time.
