Warzone 2 has an extensive list of perks that can consistently give any player an advantage whenever one is activated. Though each user will certainly have their own preferences when it comes to the Perk Packages they want to use, it seems that one in particular has been gaining popularity for all the wrong reasons.

The Birdseye perk, which is typically only supposed to give players a zoomed out mini map along with an indication of a UAV user’s direction, has apparently also been providing players the benefits that the aforementioned killstreak brings.

Because of the unfair advantage that it brings, prominent Warzone 2 streamer WhosImmortal has created a video calling on CoD devs to either nerf the perk or remove it entirely from the game.

In the same clip, the content creator notes that although the developers had already released a “secret update” which removed Birdseye from the battle royale’s list of usable perks, it seems that random accounts have seemingly been able to activate their custom Perk Packages containing Birdseye at random times.

Since the UAV continues to be one of the most used killstreaks in the entire game, the players that are able to activate Birdseye gain an unfair upper hand over the rest of the competition. Various posts on Reddit have also been made over the past couple of weeks which have brought even more attention to this pressing issue.

Whether or not this perk gets fixed soon remains to be seen as Infinity Ward and Raven Software are yet to issue an announcement regarding it. The streamer, however, was optimistic that the developers would eventually address this issue in due time as they are well aware that perks are not working as intended.
