Prominent Warzone pro player and streamer Metaphor has claimed some fresh details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

As reported by Dextero, Metaphor tweeted a list of features coming to the new version of the battle royale, after first previously claiming to have seen the game back in August.

In his latest tweet last night, they noted some interesting new additions that could shake up gameplay, such as the addition of random NPCs in the map.

Perhaps most excitingly is the mention that the Helicopter seen in Highrise may be useable. It’s long been suspected that Highrise will form a part of the Warzone 2.0 map.

Back during the Modern Warfare 2 reveal trailer back in June, fans spotted what appeared to be the MW2 fan-favourite map in screenshots.

Metaphor also claims that there’ll be container based looting, new contacts and the fact that the toxic gas cloud has now been replaced by a dust storm.

Of course, for now we have to take these claims with a pinch of salt as they’re all unverified. Hopefully, we’ll find out for sure at the upcoming Call of Duty NEXT event.

That’ll take place next Thursday, September 15. You check out all the details you need to watch that over here.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 is expected to arrive “soon after” the launch of Modern Warfare 2. Here’s everything we know about the game so far.

Also, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has now been confirmed – check out what we know so far on pre registeration here.
