Nintendo has released a demo for upcoming minigame collection WarioWare: Get It Together! on the Nintendo Switch.

The latest entry in the series was originally revealed back in June. The twist this time around is that you’ll actually take control of Wario and his friends as you take on the microgames. Each one has their own ability, giving a unique twist on how you tackle the game. For example, Mona has a guided boomerang and scooter while ninja twins Kat and Ana can fire off a bunch of shuriken. You’ll have to get to grips with each character to discover their quirks.

You’ll also get to play the microgames in a co-op mode, with both same-console and local wireless modes supported. There’s a Story Mode and a Variety Pack mode, as well as a Wario Cup with weekly challenges and leaderboards.

We’ve not seen a new WarioWare game since 2018’s WarioWare Gold for the Nintendo 3DS. However, Nintendo renewed the trademark, along with a host of others, back in January of last year.

The WarioWare: Get It Together demo is available to download right now on the Nintendo eShop. The game itself arrives exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on September 10.
