New Valorant agent 26 Vyse abilities, release date and rewards

Valorant has had a fantastic year so far, and it is set to get better very soon with the introduction of Episode 9 Act 2. This is set to introduce agent 26, which will be the newest character following on from the addition of Clove in Episode 8. Here you will find the new Valorant agent 26 Vyse abilities, tier list of rewards, and her release date.

This will be the newest character to join the shooter since its launch on PS5 and Xbox consoles. Leaks already revealed the agent’s class and name, meanwhile, Riot has been teasing their addition since the start of Episode 9, with teasers leading to the assumption that they can control the sands of time.

Fortunately, the teasers and leaks are now over as Riot Games has revealed all of the important details. We know the abilities for Vyse in Valorant, and the release date for when agent 26 will join the roster is not too far away.

New Valorant Vyse abilities list

Below are the official abilities for new Valorant agent, Vyse:

• Arc Rose
  • EQUIP an Arc Rose. Target a surface and FIRE to place a stealthed Arc Rose, or ALT Fire to place the Arc Rose through it. REUSE to blind all players looking at it. This ability can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.
• Shear
  • EQUIP filaments of liquid metal. FIRE to place a hidden wall trap. When an enemy crosses, an indestructible wall bursts from the ground behind them. The wall lasts for a brief time before dissipating.
• Razorvine
  • EQUIP a nest of liquid metal. FIRE to launch. Upon landing, the nest becomes invisible. When ACTIVATED, it sprawls out into a large razorvine nest which slows and damages all players who move through it.
• (ULT) Steel Garden
  • EQUIP a bramble of liquid metal. FIRE to send the metal erupting from you as a torrent of metal thorns, JAMMING enemy primary weapons after a brief windup.

In addition to the above, Vyse is officially a Sentinel. She is described as a “Metallic mastermind” who is cunning, manipulative, and “unleashes liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm her enemies”.

• Tier 1: Spray – Jammed
• Tier 2: Player Card – VALORANT Vyse
• Tier 3: Title – Tempered
• Tier 4: Spray – Arts and Crafts
• Tier 5: Kingdom Credits – 2,000
• Tier 6: Gun Buddy – Metal Petals
• Tier 7: Spray – Vyse Spray
• Tier 8: Title – Metalweaver
• Tier 9: Player Card – A History Erased
• Tier 10: Gun Skin – Steel Resolve (Classic)

Valorant Vyse release date

The release date for Vyse in Valorant is August 28th. She is agent 26, and she looks absolutely fantastic. As a Sentinel, she adds to the current class roster that includes Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Chamber, and Deadlock.

Valorant Game Designer, Kevin Meier, has said “For Vyse, we wanted to create a Sentinel that had a solution to space taking duelists in a way that wasn’t primarily stall-oriented”. She “has a lot of flexibility in setups, but lacks some of the information tools that the current meta sentinels bring to the table”.

Meier expects “her to be great at anchoring space and holding out versus multiple enemies,” and the game designer has explained, “Her flash is more effective when pre-placed, so there is some shot-calling players must make at the start of a round for how they want to hold an area”.
