Valorant Episode 8 Act 2 has now begun. Not much has changed with this new chapter of the game, but things are set to get exciting very soon with the reveal of the mysterious Agent 25. Riot Games hasn’t pulled the curtain aside on this new character yet, but one revealing Agent 25 leak has excited Valorant players ready to main them.
You can check out the patch notes for Valorant update 8.04. These patch notes reveal everything nerfed and buffed in the game, along with changes to Premier mode for the beginning of Episode 8 Act 2. In addition, the Episode 8 Act 2 battle pass has begun and there is a track of new free rewards along with an optional premium track of rewards that cost 1,000 VP.
Again, not much has changed in this new Act and some fans are disappointed. If you’re part of the disappointed portion of the fanbase, then the good news is that you only have to wait a couple of weeks for Riot Games to unleash Agent 25. And, if you’re a fan of Phoenix, this leak should have you smiling from ear to ear with glee.
Valorant Agent 25 leak points to self-reviving ability
We have reported on everything known about Valorant Agent 25 so far. They will officially be revealed during the Masters Madrid Finals on March 24th, and leaks to point them being a Controller. We also have voice messages from Fade and Cypher suggesting they come from Edinburgh, Scotland, so they could have a Scottish accent similar to Lillia in Riot Games’ League of Legends only less fantasy-based.
You can find the voice teasers from Fade and Cypher uploaded to YouTube by Reven Valorant. While Cypher and Fade point to the new playable character possibly being Scottish, leakers have shared another voice message this time from Phoenix.
Uploaded on to Twitter by ValorantUpdated, this voice line from Phoenix is as follows: “Aye fam, imagine when me and the new kid go on the same mission, other team gonna be stressin’, with both of us coming back to life”.
Although not official yet, the above voice line suggests Agent 25 shares the ability to self-revive after dying. This is a hint that has gotten fans massively excited. Discussing whether fans are excited for the new agent on Reddit, one user said ‘We have gotten hints that they might be able to revive themselves in a way like Phoenix with his ult, as a phoenix main I’m excited‘.
Another fan said ‘I already know that I’m gonna main her‘ and another said ‘This is the first agent in a while for which I’m genuinely stoked’. It’s important to point out that the new agent isn’t confirmed to be female, but people are presuming they are a female Controller from Scotland with self-reviving abilities. Killjoy has also said their sense of fashion is ‘inspirational‘.
Aside from being a Controller possibly from Scotland with ‘inspirational’ fashion and self-reviving capabilities, another leak points to smoke bombs with the phrase ‘When dropping smokes takes on a new life’. Lastly, their nickname could be FrogRave, and you can now find in-game teasers at Breeze and Sunset.
