Supermassive Games and 2K have teased The Quarry, a new horror game coming this Summer.
Most of the details of the new game are being kept under wraps for now. That’s because a full reveal event will be coming tomorrow at 4PM UK time. What we do know is that the game will be a separate project from The Dark Pictures Anthology series, as it’ll be published by 2K Games.
We also know some of the main stars of the game. Horror favourite and Scream actor David Arquette tweeted from his official account that he’ll be part of the project. In what capacity as to whether he’ll be one of the player characters or otherwise, we’ve yet to find out. Other actors who’ve confirmed to be on board include Evil Dead’s Ted Raimi (brother of director Sam), Santa Clarita Diet & My Name is Earl alumnus Ethan Suplee and American Horror Story actor Zach Tinker.
We do have a brief trailer for the project posted by all the above actors, which also reveals the game will feature that good old horror staple of a mysterious summer camp. You can check that out for yourself down below.
A trademark filing for The Quarry was spotted just last month on the European Union Intellectual Property Office. We’ll find out more about The Quarry after it’s official reveal on March 17, at 4pm UK time. The game itself will arrive on as yet unannounced platforms this summer. We’ll update you with more after tomorrow’s reveal.
