The First Descendant Season 1 is finally here. We all get to play as the stunning newcomer, Hailey, and there is also a new difficulty along with a fresh battle pass and more stunning skins. In addition, TFD developer Nexon has just shared rewards for completing daily and LTM challenges available in The First Descendant Season 1.
Nexon has shared the release time for when The First Descendant Season 1 will specifically start, and they have also just shared the full update 1.1.0 patch notes detailing everything new set to arrive in TFD. Hailey is the obvious big addition as a new playable character, but there’s plenty more such as a lot of content improvements and fixes.
While all of the new content arriving is great, Nexon is also introducing a new Descendant’s Daily Task event. This comes with Limited-Time and Daily Challenges that need to be completed to obtain rewards.
The First Descendant Season 1 rewards
On the game’s official X account, Nexon has shared that The First Descendant Season 1 is starting new event, Descendant’s Daily Task. This runs from after TFD Season 1 begins until 23:59 on September 9th.
Starting with Daily Challenges, these are reset everyday at 23:59 PDT. Rewards will be received via mailbox, and “you can obtain your reward everyday if you participate the mission after the reset period”.
Below are the Daily Challenges and accompanying rewards:
- Complete 4 Regional Missions regardless of difficulty
- 1,000,000 Gold
- Complete 2 Void Intercept Battles regardless of difficulty
- Murky Energy Residue – 3
- Marcromolecule Biogel – 8
- Mixed Energy Residue – 3
- Advanced Neural Circuit – 6
- Complete 1 Research
- 5-hr XP boost (30%)
- Complete 1 Infiltration Operation regardless of difficulty
- 100,000 Kuiper Shards
As for LTM challenges, you can only obtain the rewards once. These rewards will be received via mailbox, too. Below are the challenges:
- Complete 5 Void Intercept Battles regardless of difficulty
- Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint – 1
- 1,000,000 Gold
- Own 3 or more Descendants
- Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint – 2
- 2,000,000 Gold
- Complete 20 Regional Missions in Hard difficulty
- 3-Day XP Boost (30%)
- 3,000,000 Gold
