The First Descendant just received a new update that added a lot of quality-of-life improvements and fixes to the game along with public Invasion operations. Nexon’s patch also added a plethora of new Ultimate bundles that, while not the prettiest, include a rather great version of Bunny. Unfortunately, these new Premium Ultimate skins come with a massive disclaimer that The First Descendant fans hate.
You can check out the update 1.1.3 patch notes to see the latest changes from Nexon. In addition, the developer has just shared patch notes for 1.1.3b, revealing a few additional fixes as a result of yesterday’s hotfix. As for what to look forward to in the future, Ultimate Freyna is still on course to come out on October 10th, meanwhile, Nexon has revealed that the upcoming PS5 Pro version of the game will have enhanced ray tracing.
While we are looking forward to the arrival of Ultimate Freyna, right now there are some new Ultimate Skin Bundles for fans to buy. The one fans clearly love the most is the new Ultimate Bunny as it’s the most creative and stylish. However, if you plan on buying it, there is a major disclaimer you should know about.
The First Descendant new Premium Ultimate skins disclaimer
The First Descendant update 1.1.3 added the following new Ultimate skin bundles to the in-game store:
- Ultimate Lepic Bundle I
- Premium Ultimate Lepic Bundle I
- Ultimate Viessa Bundle I
- Premium Ultimate Viessa Bundle I
- Ultimate Ajax Bundle I
- Premium Ultimate Ajax Bundle I
- Ultimate Bunny Bundle I
- Premium Ultimate Bunny Bundle I
- Ultimate Gley Bundle I
- Premium Ultimate Gley Bundle I
You can see the skins in the embedded Reddit post below:
Unfortunately, in the 1.1.3 patch notes, there is a massive disclaimer about all of the the Premium Ultimate Bundle skins listed above. As per Nexon, “The ‘Back Attachment’ and ‘Spawn’ included in the ‘Premium Ultimate Descendant Bundle I’ are exclusive to the corresponding Ultimate Descendant and cannot be used by other Descendants”.
This is understandably very frustrating for fans. The top reply underneath Nexon’s post promoting the new Ultimate Bunny says that back attachments and spawns “Should be able to be purchased separately and used for everyone just like the first set”.
Reacting to the disclaimer on Reddit, there are a myriad of critical replies such as “This is so dumb. Not only are they wasting time modifying them to only be useable to a certain descendant they are just making the community mad for no real reason”. Other comments point out how it’s insane that there is this drawback yet these Ultimate skins still cost the same as the first set where back attachments and spawns can be used for other characters.
Hopefully Nexon change this because of the feedback, but it might not be possible for these bundles. If that is the case, hopefully it’s something Nexon does not repeat with Ultimate skins moving forward.
