“Thank you Nexon” The First Descendant fans praise devs for upcoming changes

The First Descendant is a fantastic co-op multiplayer experience with large parts of its popularity owed to its characters, skins, and addictive gameplay loop. In addition, Nexon has done a great job frequently supporting TFD since launch early last month. Some massive changes are on the way, and many The First Descendant fans are thanking Nexon for listening to the community.

The release date for TFD’s next patch is August 13th, and you can check out the early update 1.07 patch notes to see all of the promised tweaks and improvements. In addition, the roadmap for 2024 has Season 1 pegged for late-August, and three new playable characters have leaked, including a new Descendant for Season 1.

Season 1 will also see the release of more skins including an Ultimate. We absolute cannot wait for the first proper season to begin, but, before then, we have a new patch inbound, and The First Descendant fans are thrilled with the changes that are on the way.

The First Descendant fans react to upcoming changes

On Reddit, The First Descendant fans have responded to the upcoming changes as part of update 1.07 arriving next week. One of the most praised upcoming changes is “Monsters’ HP will be reduced, and more ammo will be dropped easily in Void Fusion Reactors”. Reacting to this titbit, one of the replies commented, “Solo fighting a Void Reactor boss that has HP for 4 people was really frustrating. Thank you, Nexon”.

Another user commented, “Just exactly what I really need right now! Getting frustrated with how tedious some of the infiltration missions with capture zones, especially going solo”. And other user replied, “Void reactor boss HP reduction and ammo drops?? That’s it I’m stopping all farming till this is implemented, Very needed change. They [Nexon] really are listening, which is great”.

Aside from the change mentioned above, fans are also pleased with Nexon “removing Occupation tasks and focusing more on Eliminations”. One user commented, “Big W, good for them to keep with the run and gun concept. Occupation is directly opposite of that concept”.

While thrilled with the upcoming slew of changes, many fans showered Nexon with praise. There are several comments such as, “Holy f**k, devs that actually listen to the players? No way,” and “This game is going places if dev continue be like this”.

There are even more comments of praise such as, “The game has it’s issues but developers not listening doesn’t seem to be one. I feel like they’re knocking off major complaints about as fast as can be reasonably expected”.
