The Finals is one of the best multiplayer games available right now and players are currently loving all of the additions added with the release of Season 2. While all of the new additions are fantastic, developer Embark Studios has confirmed new upcoming character customization features for The Finals classes.

Check out the full The Finals Season 2 patch notes to find absolutely everything new with the game. While the obvious additions are a new map, new weapons, and new gadgets, Season 2 has also added a new gameplay setting that players should enable immediately. In addition, there is a very specific nerf fans have lambasted as ‘idiotic’.

While all of the new content is great with only some of the buffs and nerfs complained about, the developer is already looking ahead to Season 3. The game allows you to create a character and play as either Light, Medium, or Heavy class, and eventually you will be able to add facial hair to your character.

The Finals dev says facial hair is coming to character creator

The Finals developer has confirmed that facial hair is coming to the character customization suite for the game. This was confirmed over on the game’s official Discord channel.

Per Embark developer Rob, ‘Facial hair is coming, we just need to add another slot for “face customization”‘. If you are relieved to hear that facial hair is coming to the game, then you’ll also be stoked to hear that there might be even more additions.

One user replied ‘No chest hair then’, to which Rob replied ‘It might ACTUALLY be part of S3… ‘. Screenshots of the Discord messages come courtesy of Reddit user TheCowhawk.

As it stands, The Finals character creation suite is already pretty damn good for a multiplayer FPS. However, for dudes rocking beards and a jungle all over their body, the promised additions of facial hair and possibly chest hair is minor but still exciting nonetheless.
