The Finals is famous for having amazing drip. There are lots of good and flashy outfits in the game for you to customize your Light, Medium, or Heavy combatant. Now, away from the in-game store, The Finals fans can get a free and rare Skill Issue skin but must act quickly because it is exclusive and very limited time only.

Embark Studios recently shared the full patch notes for update 2.2.0. This update finally delivered buffs and nerfs for two of the most controversial weapons in the game, but it also delivered an Easter extravaganza with bunny outfits to don.

A new update will be on the way shortly and the in-game store will receive a rotation, too. Freebies are always appreciated, and players can still grab two epic outfits and 12 skins for free in a single bundle. While this bundle doesn’t have an expiration date, The Finals fans must act very quickly to get the free and exclusive Skill Issue skin from Discord Quest.

How to get The Finals Skill Issue skin for free

The Finals fans can get the Skill Issue skin reward code for free by accepting and completing the Discord Quest before April 16th. Assuming you complete the Quest before this deadline, you then have until May 30th to redeem the code before it expires.

You should find the option to accept the Quest through an alert. Per the official Discord Quest FAQ, you may find an alert for which you need to hover over the Quest bar, select it to expand, and select Accept Quest if you wish to participate. If you cannot find the Quest bar, the FAQ says you can locate the Quest to accept in User Settings > Gift Inventory.

If you still do not see the quest, The Finals Discord announcement says you may need to enable ‘in-game rewards (aka Quests)’ in your privacy and safety settings.

Once you have found the Quest and accepted it, you then need to stream The Finals to at least one person through Discord for at least 15 minutes. If you’re unsure how to stream through Discord, you can check out the official support page for Go Live and screen sharing.

There are also the following steps shared on the Discord Quest FAQ page:

  • Before you can begin the Quest, launch the partnered game [The Finals].
  • Then head to your Discord desktop/browser app and navigate to a server of your choice.
  • Once there, join a voice channel and select the Screen Share icon located in the voice status panel. Be sure to select the individual application for the partnered game before you Go Live.
  • When you’re ready to stream your gameplay, press Go Live.

As soon as you’ve completed the Quest of streaming on Discord for at least 15 minutes, you should receive a gift code in your Discord Gift Inventory. You can then redeem this code on Embark’s website.

Remember that you must accept and complete the Quest’s requirements before April 16th and redeem the code before May 30th. Aside from a nice tank top outfit, it is also a set that makes ‘each elimination you achieve in the Arena a bit more memorable for the opposing team’.
