The Finals update 2.7.0 patch notes come with best skin added to store

The Finals regularly receives updates on a weekly basis that rotate items in the store as well as introduce balance changes and bug fixes to the game. While there are no buffs and nerfs this week, there are some significant fixes along with the addition of a highly-anticipated skin. Here you will find The Finals update 2.7.0 patch notes along with the gothic set of makeup you can now purchase.

In addition to this update that has just come out, Embark is encouraging fans to sign a petition to make an awesome skin idea a reality. We are currently in the midst of Season 2, but Season 3 is looming over the horizon. Not much has been confirmed about the next chapter, but Embark has said there will be a new Season 3 map, and the dev has teased that a huge game-changing addition is ‘in the plans’.

While the potential of Season 3 is exciting, we still have over a month to wait. Fortunately, another fantastic update has arrived as, besides the 2.7.0 patch notes, the highly-anticipated goth girl skin has been added to the store.

Content and Bug Fixes

Performance

• Fixed an issue where launch options like -dx11 stopped working. However, we still recommend playing without any additional options
• Fixed a rare crash on the server 

UI 

• Polished the look of the incoming melee damage indicator
• Fixed an issue with single item bundle purchase where the wrong item was equipped
• Fixed the nametag sometimes intersecting the HUD in terminal attack when in the squad-up screen

Security 

This week, you’ll notice a difference in the number of cheaters in the game. Multiple new rules have been implemented, along with changes to how and when cheaters are detected. These changes mean that cheaters are being detected and removed faster. 

Remember: if you see cheating in the game, report it and add a good comment explaining what is happening. We also collect video reports on Discord, so if you capture suspicious behavior, send it in! 

Store update

In addition to the above 2.7.0 patch notes, The Finals update has also added the Darque Mood outfit to the store. This is more commonly known as the goth girl skin fans have heavily anticipated.
