Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is getting an open beta, according to a casual remark dropped during a recent livestream.

The slip came on a Twitch stream over the weekend, where a host mentioned that a number of issues present in the private beta would be fixed for – yep, you've guessed it! – the open beta. Technically this isn't an official announcement in the usual press release sense, but it's as good as confirmation an open beta is coming.

The Division received an open beta, so it's not entirely out of the question the sequel would follow suit. Plus, as Del Boy would say, 'you know it makes sense.' I mean, Ubisoft will want to iron out as many bugs as possible in a big game like The Division before launch, after all.

The Division 2 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 15.
