Dotemu has given a summer release window for upcoming retro-themed brawler Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

The date comes alongside a whopping eleven-minute long slice of gameplay footage of the new game. In addition, developer Tribute Games has also announced the original voice cast from the 1987 cartoon are on board. That means you’ll hear voice work from Cam Clarke as Leonardo, Townsend Coleman as Michelangelo, Barry Gordon as Donatello and Rob Paulsen as Raphael.

They’ve all recorded brand new dialogue for this game, including signature phrases and quips. It’s all in the name of establishing the upcoming beat-em-up as a true love letter to the original TMNT cartoon. As the video released last week made abundantly clear, the teams at Dotemu and Tribute were big fans of the series growing up.

The announcement also comes along with news of a physical version. Dotemu will be teaming up with Limited Run Games in the US and Merge Games in Europe. A date hasn’t been set for those yet, but it shouldn’t be too long after the digital release.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will release on Xbox One, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC this summer. We’ll get a more specific date closer to the game’s release.
