Dotemu has released a new behind-the-scenes video for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

One reason to be excited about the new game is because Dotemu made Streets of Rage 4, and that was really good.

Check out the trailer below:

Tribute Games Co-Founder Jonathan Lavigne says:

“We designed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge to resemble a season of the classic 1987 cartoon series … Pairing elements of the wider TMNT universe with the inventive styles of battle fans know to expect from the Turtles resulted in the non-stop pacing of an action movie, and the game’s balance of this iconic world’s personality with lighthearted fights is a rush to play.”

This is the second video in Dotemu’s series. Check out the first here. In other recent turtle-related news, we recently found out that Shredder will be a playable character. Dotemu has scheduled the game for release this summer. And has recently released a gameplay trailer, which showcases its classic nineties arcade style.

The last Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game that VideoGamer reviewed was the one based on the film from 2007. It wasn’t very good, but, on the plus side, that means the new game doesn’t exactly follow in the footsteps of greats. No pressure, then.
