Super Smash Bros Ultimate has revealed its final DLC fighter as the much requested Sora from Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts series.

Sora was revealed by the game’s director Masahiro Sakurai during today’s Final Battle broadcast. Sakurai revealed that Sora was actually one of the most requested fighters of all time for the series. The character topped a user poll for the most wanted character all the way back during the development of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS in 2014.

It seems Super Smash Bros Ultimate‘s Sora will be mainly an aerial based fighter, with plenty of airborne moves. He’ll also have access to three types of magic attacks, Firaga, Blizzaga and Thundaga. Sora will cycle through each of these in turn after each attack. As a special bonus, save data from Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will unlock a bonus additional song.

Elsewhere, Sakurai also revealed the final three Mii Fighter costumes coming to the game on the same day. These include two Splatoon-themed costumes and one based on Bethesda’s Doom Slayer. As a special surprise, there was also a bonus reveal of the Kingdom Hearts games coming to Nintendo Switch, more on that soon.

Both Sora and the Mii Fighters 11 Costume Pack will be available for Super Smash Bros Ultimate on October 19. He’s also available in the Fighters Pack Volume 2 with the previous five fighters. The game is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
