The Starfield Direct event held towards the beginning of June 2023 has come and gone, but fans continue to applaud all of the features that were exhibited during that time. One of the specific elements that players are still praising to this day are the unique spacesuit designs that make each interplanetary denizen stand out from the other.
Of course, with the Starfield release date still a couple of months away, the player base’s desire to dissect every single portion of the previews provided so far becomes completely understandable as this game is set to be Xbox’s biggest launch in years. So naturally, these eager gamers have also started heading to social media in order to share their thoughts on various features including the aforementioned spacesuit designs.
A Redditor named TheRealLukeJames even created a post saying they’re “loving the aesthetic” that Bethesda have come up with for Starfield. They also included several images of different in-game costumes in their thread, showcasing the fashionable choices the developers have made when it comes to outfitting both the player character and the NPC’s found throughout each planet.
One commenter pointed out that “there seems to be a really wide variety of different clothes that people are wearing in the main cities. All [of] which the player can wear as well.” Another user further down the thread echoed the previous sentiment by saying they “dig it a lot; it’s surprisingly varied.” “There’s the more grounded stuff on the one hand that really fits the NASA part of the equation, there’s various degrees of practical apparel between ‘space trucker’ and ‘space biker,’ but then there’s also the kind of techno-baroque fashion that fits right into the Deus Ex universe,” they continued.
With all of these chic possibilities available in the game, no two players will surely be wearing the same outfit once it gets released. But with the launch date still yet to arrive, we suggest checking out our guides on Starfield outposts, crew members, and the character creator for now so you know what to expect once you get your hands on it.
