Sniper: Ghost Warrior will be released for iOS devices in Q1 2012, City Interactive has announced. The game is in development at Polish studio Vivid Games and will utilise Epic’s Unreal Engine 3.
City describes the title as “a fully-fledged AAA product” and promises to make use of the touchscreen control interface.
“Sniper: Ghost Warrior has proven to be a huge commercial success and we have high hopes for its sequel on console and PC, which is due for release early next year. This new project is being developed from the ground up specifically for iOS devices, which we feel are perfectly suited to the crafting of a truly great sniping experience,” commented City Interactive’s global PR & marketing manager Jonathan Goddard.
