Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Seal, Karlie Kloss, Steve Aoki and other celebrities will be participating in a livestreamed Mario Tennis Aces doubles tournament this weekend (via The Verge).
The biggest names in tennis are grabbing their virtual rackets for the #StayAtHomeSlam, live on Facebook Gaming this Sunday (May 3), in partnership with @IMGTennis.

Dubbed the “Stay at Home Slam,” Facebook Gaming will host the livestream for the event, which starts on May 3, at 4.00pm ET/9.00pm BST. The line-up of players who have thrown their racket into the ring are:

The winners will donate the $1 million prize to a charity of their choice. With the postponement or cancellation of numerous real-life sporting events due to the pandemic, this is one more intriguing foray into esports for professional athletes. The NBA, MLS, and Premier League have all had their players participate in tournaments, and the Formula One Virtual Grand Prix attracted 3.2 million viewers.
