Reminder that The First Descendant fans can anticipate new swimsuit skins just like Marvel Rivals

The First Descendant has just delivered Ultimate Blair, and this is the last major character addition we are getting before Season 3 arrives in June. We don’t know any details about Season 3 right now other than it’s when TFD will literally become unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. However, while official details are slacking, The First Descendant fans can anticipate new swimsuit skins similar to Marvel Rivals.

Reminder that new swimsuit skins are coming to The First Descendant

As of writing, the big news is that swimsuit skins are coming to Marvel Rivals. This is confirmed by Marvel who have revealed that their Marvel Swimsuit Special comic series is returning in July, and that it will “include designs for new costumes coming soon to Marvel Rivals”.

While this news is exciting for players of Marvel Rivals, it’s an apt time to remind The First Descendant fans that new summer swimsuit skins are on the way for TFD, too. This was confirmed by TFD producer, Lee, on Discord back in November 2024.

These new swimsuit skins will be arriving in the “summer,” so we can probably expect them to land in August similar to the previous beach attires.

We haven’t received any teasers or images of the new skins on the way, but there’s a lot more characters for Nexon to accommodate. Since the launch of the previous cosmetics, Nexon has added fan-favorites Hailey, Ines, and, most recently, Serena.

While new beachwear after last year and Hot Springs this year is exciting, there is an unfortunate reminder for fans, too. As also stated by producer, Lee, Nexon will not be rereleasing any of the swimsuit outfits from last year. This is because the 2024 summer swimsuit skins “were limited items, so they cannot be resold due to legal restrictions”.

Although Nexon can’t rerelease some of the beach attire a lot of players probably missed, Lee has confirmed that the “pink salamander… should make a return” as it “wasn’t a limited-time item”.
