Speaking at THQ’s showcase event, Core Games head Danny Bilson has revealed that Dawn of War developer Relic Studios is assisting Valhalla Game Studios on Devil’s Third.
Bilson stated that Valhalla’s Tomonobu Itagaki and a few members of his team are “in Vancouver at Relic Studios, partnering with Relic on a few really cool aspects of the technology in their game.”
This was confirmed to joystiq to be Relic helping out with Devil’s Third and not Itagaki and co assisting on a Relic project.

We’re not exactly sure what Relic will be able to offer Valhalla that the new studio couldn’t handle itself, but it is a developer with years of experience on PC and consoles, and a substantial history with online gaming. Perhaps the studio is assisting with the net code in Devil’s Third.
