The PSVR 2 will only ship through PlayStation at this launch, much like what we saw with the DualSense Edge. Having Amazon and Best Buy as possible retailers for the VR headset would make assessing the shipping situation much easier, though we’re going to have to rely instead on the good word of the internet to find out when the PSVR 2 will ship.
Alongside that, we’re going to be making predictions for the PSVR 2 release time. These will be based on previous PlayStation launches, and previous general hardware launches that come close to the monolithic scale of the PSVR 2.

When will my PSVR 2 arrive?
We’ve been monitoring the /r/PSVR subreddit to assess the current situation regarding the PSVR. If you’re in the USA, here’s what we’ve found out.
One user, Grlinko115, has mentioned that their PSVR 2 has been “awaiting carrier pickup since last Friday,” which seems to suggest that his headset is in some sort of shipping limbo. Others, such as fastquart43 have claimed that their shipment is “still in label created stage.”
Of course, the USA is such a vast space that everyone’s shipping times will be wildly different. Some participants in the thread are even attempting to dispel the optimism, saying that they’re expecting “the estimated delivery to change from the 22nd to later.” The appearance of bad weather across the States seems as though it could cause some issues with deliveries which isn’t great news either.
However, that’s not to say that there isn’t some good news either.
tthrow22 commented that at “12 noon just shipped from Louisville, KY,” which gives hope to anyone looking to enjoy the PSVR 2 on release date.
Ultimately, we can’t accurately say what time the PSVR 2 will arrive. This largely due to the fact that shipping across the States with different carriers will always result in slightly varying shipping times. We can say that if your PSVR 2 doesn’t arrive today, hold tight until tomorrow, and expect it to arrive very shortly.
