When starting Palworld you are tasked with creating your own character. You can be either male or female, and you can tweak aspects such as the body, face, eyes, and hair. It’s not as extensive as the character creation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, Black Desert, or ARK Survival Evolved, but it’s good enough. However, if you’d like more options, you can get more than 50 amazing new hairstyles for your Palworld character.
Pocketpair has done a good job of regularly updating the game, and you can find the full Palworld update 0.2.0.6 patch notes online. This is the biggest update yet by far as it adds a new evil pal along with more key items and an Ore Mining Site. While the addition of Bellanoir is neat, leaks have uncovered many more pals and bosses potentially joining the game in future updates.
More content will be delivered in the shape of pals, bosses, islands, and other additions highlighted in the roadmap. It’s possible more character customization options could be released too, but fans can get more hairstyles right now without needing to wait for Pocketpair.
Palworld fans can get 51 new hairstyles for character creator
A Palworld mod on Nexus adds 51 new hairstyles to the character creation suite. This mod was created by user William112792, and it was last updated on April 4th.
There are no known bugs highlighted with the mod, and the posted comments are full of praise. One says ‘The new models are SO CUTE!’ and another says ‘I’m loving all the styles, you did a great job!’.
Admittedly, quite a few of the hairstyles come with hats that cannot be removed. However, the lineup is still fantastic, and there are a lot of famous hairstyles included. There’s the famous anime Naruko hairstyle and one of the comments says there’s Link from the Legend of Zelda, too.
The web page description says this mod currently includes ’51 additional variations of hairs added to the game with full Hue support using the in-game Character Creator’. They also have another mod where you can get more eyes for character creator.
To install the mod, the description says you need to ‘Simply copy the mod files into your LogicMods folder for details in Mod Config Menu’. Either that ‘Or if only wanting the functionality of this mod, copy the pak file to your Mods folder’.
While the 51 hairstyles are neat right now, the creator says they are planning to add more based on the Naruto anime series. They plan on creating Yuna style of hair, as well as afro, dreads, mohawk, spikey hair, balding, blade, and souls.
