Sci-fi squad shooter Outriders is set to get its first new broadcast since its launch back in April next week.

The broadcast promises to show “a first look at a colossal free content update” coming to the game. They also say they’ll also be detailing the improvements to the game since it came out seven months ago.

It has been very quiet for Outriders of late, despite launching on day one on Xbox Game Pass. Back in August, developer People Can Fly claimed to investors that it had yet to turn a profit with the game. This was even despite boasting 3.5 million players in its first month just a few months previously. Presumably then, the team will be hoping to lure back lapsed players with the promise of new additions. We’ll have to wait and see.

In our review of the game at the time, Josh said the following: “The shooting is the best part of Outriders. People Can Fly, having made Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgment, have a keen grasp on combat—how it can be leashed to supernatural abilities and lanced through with traditional firepower.”

The Outriders broadcast #6 will take place on Monday, November 15 at 5pm UK time over on the Square Enix official Twitch channel.
