Square Enix spilled a load more beans on upcoming destruction-’em-up Just Cause 4 during its E3 showcase this evening, confirming a bunch of new features for the open-world adventure.

Chiefly, Just Cause 4 will up the ante in terms of what the world is capable of throwing at you. Bad weather will be a huge factor, with tornadoes and other forces of Mother Nature looking to ruin your day.

These won’t only pose a threat to you; they’ll be able to destroy bridges, trees, and other parts of the environment too.

In addition, Rico now sports a fully customisable grapple, which will aid him in presumably blowing s**t up, because that’s pretty much what Just Cause 4 is all about at the end of the day.

We’ve also learned something else: Just Cause 4 will be released on December 4 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

As soon as the trailer drops online we’ll update this article for you.
