Ninty has announced that the Switch has flogged 32.27 million units worldwide as of December 31, 2018.

The console managed to shift 14.49 million units during the period April – December, with total software sales to date reaching 163.61 million. Switch launched in March 2017, and overtook PlayStation 4 to become the best-selling console of 2018 in the US. So yeah, it's fair to say the Big N isn't doing too bad at the moment.

Elsewhere, Nintendo issued an update on 3DS sales, confirming the eight-year-old handheld has shifted 74.84 million units and 375.97 million games. The Wii U meanwhile has moved 13.56 million hardware units since its arrival in 2012.

The company also revealed that Super Mario Party has sold 5.3 million copies to date, while Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu/Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have moved 10 million and 12.08 million units, respectively.
