Nintendo Switch was the best-selling video game console in North America during 2018, the NPD Group has announced.
It's quite an achievement for the Big N's hybrid platform, which managed to overtake the PlayStation 4 last year. Switch drummed up the biggest annual sales for any home console since 2015, back when PS4 smashed the record.
The news comes following confirmation that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was the best-selling game in the US for December 2018, and broke records for the fastest-selling console exclusive in NPD-tracking history.
The Switch has sold over 22 million units worldwide since its launch in March 2017.
