Wondering who the new fighters for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 are? The sequel to the Nickelodeon-themed SSB alternative features characters from tons of different Nicktoons, ranging from SpongeBob Squarepants to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. GameMill Entertainment has stuffed the game full of content, and the fighters are the most important part.

The release date for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is fast approaching, so to make sure you’re ready, you need to know every playable fighter in the game. Here are all the characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, including the new fighters and returning characters.

Who are the new characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2?

There are a total of 15 new fighters coming in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, featuring these 11 characters available at launch:

  • The Angry Beavers Daggett and Norbert (The Angry Beavers)
  • Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
  • Donatello (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • El Tigre (El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera)
  • Ember McLain (Danny Phantom)
  • Gerald (Hey Arnold!)
  • Grandma Gertie (Hey Arnold!)
  • Jimmy Neutron (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius)
  • Mecha Plankton (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Squidward (SpongeBob SquarePants)

And the following four are being released throughout 2024 through the Season Pass DLC:

  • Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
  • Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Rocksteady (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

As stated above, these four characters will only become available if you purchase the Season Pass. If you choose to get the base game with no extra content, these characters will not be added to your roster when they are released. The DLC characters will also get an alternative outfit when released.

Each character has a distinct fighting style that draws inspiration from their respective cartoon, including a new finishing blow move called Supers. These unique move sets add new possibilities to the fighting game. All characters will also have voice acting from launch, which is a contrast to the first game, where voiceovers were introduced in a free update.

What characters are returning in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2?

Luckily, if you’re a fan of the original playable characters, there are 14 characters from the first game that are making their comeback. These fan favorites include:

  • Avatar Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • April O’Neil (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom)
  • Garfield (Garfield)
  • Jenny Wakeman (My Life as a Teenage Robot)
  • Avatar Korra (The Legend of Korra)
  • Lucy Loud (The Loud House)
  • Nigel Thornberry (The Wild Thornberrys)
  • Patrick Star (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Ren & Stimpy (The Ren & Stimpy Show)
  • Reptar (Rugrats)
  • Rocko (Rocko’s Modern Life)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Zim (Invader Zim)

Not all characters from the first game will be making their return, however. Notably missing are characters like Helga from Hey Arnold!, Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender, CatDog from CatDog, Hugh Neutron from Jimmy Neutron, and more. However, the roster for the second game is already bigger than the first.

More DLC is expected beyond the four announced characters, as well, so some favorite brawlers could be making a return in the future.
