Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is due for another wave of DLC tracks. Nintendo has announced that the second bundle will contain eight courses.

These will be available on August 4th. And they will form two new Grands Prix, of four tracks each. These will be called the Turnip Cup and the Propeller Cup. Obviously.

Check out the trailer for the next wave below:

The tracks in the Turnip Cup are as follows:

  • Tour New York Minute
  • SNES Mario Circuit 3
  • N64 Kalimari Desert
  • DS Waluigi Pinball

Then, onto the Propeller Cup, we have:

  • Tour Sydney Sprint
  • GBA Snow Land
  • Wii Mushroom Gorge
  • Sky-High Sundae

So there you have it. If you are a Booster Course Pass holder, then you have much reason to rejoice. Check out the first wave of DLC tracks here.

Mario Kart 8 went down very well, when it first launched, on the Wii U. In VideoGamer’s review, Simon Miller said:

“With that in mind, Mario Kart’s Wii U debut ticks all the necessary boxes. Drifting, weapons, the simple to learn yet hard to master handling, expletives your mother would be ashamed of, some of the best local multiplayer imaginable: all return. Taking an inspired approach from the DS iterations, the eighth entry in the series is easily among the best yet.”
