The latest Helldivers 2 Major Order is now live, following the community being unsuccessful in acquiring the Orbital Napalm Barrage. But, it is onward and upwards and we must look forward as the Galactic War continues.
The Helldivers 2 Community Manager Baskinator took to the official Discord server to announce the latest Major Order saying,
“Despite heroic conservation efforts, and millions of Automaton militants recycled into useful scrap metals, the Helldivers were unable to secure sufficient resources to rectify supply shortages. Fleetwide distribution of the Orbital Napalm Barrage will be delayed. The Automaton war machine continues to destroy the natural resources of the galaxy. Left unchecked, our natural treasures will be consumed by the forges of Socialism, until all that remains is a heap of ash and metal.
Alas, the Galactic War does not pause, and a massive Terminid outbreak has erupted out of the Gloom into the Jin Xi sector. Colonies in the sector are only weeks old, but millions of families are trapped within, awaiting emergency evacuation.”
To complete the new Major Order, players will need to defend against 4 attacks from the Terminids, as well as successfully hold Phact Bay, Gar Haren, and Gatria when the timer expires in four days. This comes following the recent Major Order being unsuccessful, with players unable to eradicate 500 million Automatons from the galaxy, which would have unlocked the new Orbital Napalm Barrage Stratagem, instead, it will now be delayed but it is still planned to come to Helldivers 2.
