Now leaks have revealed the return of Tomb Raider with a brand-new skin. New Fortnite x Tomb Raider skin release date

The release date for the new Fortnite x Tomb Raider skin is March 14th. This comes courtesy of SpushFNBR, and has been corroborated by reliable leakers Hypex and ShiinaBR.

Epic Games first brought Lara Croft to their battle royale back in 2021, and she has remained one of the game’s most popular crossover skins of all time. It’s great that she’s coming back, especially with a new AAA video game in-development and just waiting to be announced.

When will the new Fortnite x Tomb Raider skin come out?

The expected release time for the new Fortnite x Tomb Raider skin is 5PM PDT and 8PM EDT on March 14th, as well as 12AM GMT on March 15th.

What is the new skin?

According to ShiinaBR, the new Fortnite skin for Lara Croft is based on her iconic black tank top and dark cargo shorts seen in Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. This makes sense as it’s a look that stands out from her PS1 outfit, and we just recently got the release of Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered.

It’s interesting that the outfit isn’t Crystal Dynamics’ Unified Lara Croft instead. This is Lara Croft’s look for TR12, and it has been part of many other crossovers including Call of Duty and Magic The Gathering.

How much does the new skin cost?

According to SpushFNBR, there will be a full bundle that costs 2,200 VB. This will include the skin and back bling, as well as pickaxe, wrap, and emote.

• Outfit – 1,500 VB
• Back Bling – 300 VB
• Pickaxe – 800 VB
• Wrap – 500 VB
• Emote – 400 VB

New vehicle

As if a new skin wasn’t enough, the return of Tomb Raider to Fornite will also come with a vehicle. The vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler, and this will need to be purchased for 2,000 VB, so it will not be part of a bundle.

According to SamLeakss, players will be able to equip the vehicle as an SUV, and it is reportedly coming to Rocket League as well. The vehicle itself looks snazzy, and it’s definitely appropriate for Lara Croft as classic Tomb Raider games featured vehicle sections. In addition, leaks have suggested the in-development TR12 has an open-world with a driveable vehicle, so perhaps this is a clue to said leak being accurate.
