NBA 2K23 continues to be a beacon of inspiration regarding women’s inclusion into sports video games. Along with the fact that next-generation users can experience modes like The W Online to current generation fans being able to play full seasons with a WNBA team under the MyLEAGUE menu, NBA 2K23 continues to do more and more, and yesterday’s release was another example of that.

One of the most popular modes in NBA 2K23 is MyTEAM, and a big reason why is because of how you can customise your lineups, from the players, to the uniforms and shoes, to even the coaches you want for your teams. Well as of yesterday, NBA 2K23 decided to broaden the horizon of coaches available for your squads by releasing a slew of new WNBA Coach Cards, making the total available in-game now at 30.

This is huge! Though we’ve yet to see a women’s head coach in the NBA, current Las Vegas Aces Head Coach Becky Hammon became the second female assistant coach in NBA history with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014, staying in the position until 2022 before she decided to move on. This simply highlights that women are slowly transcending into more roles in the NBA, and NBA 2K23 wanted to give the MyTEAM community a feel for that by introducing a total of 30 new WNBA coach cards they can secure and equip.

Should you be wondering which WNBA basketball legends made the list, you’ve come just to the right place. Here, we list all 30 new WNBA Head Coach cards you can acquire through the Auction Market and elsewhere in NBA 2K23 MyTEAM.

As most you might know, coach cards in NBA 2K23 are just like player cards in the sense that there are several to be had with each falling under a certain color category. So those coaches that are diamond, will be better and more expensive than those that are rubies for example.
