Activision and Infinity Ward have released a new batch of MW2 and Warzone Season 6 buffs and nerfs. As always, this latest update includes several balance changes and two of the weapons that have taken a significant hit include a couple of popular meta guns: the Kastov 762 and the TR-76 Geist.

The TR-76 Geist, in particular, received heavy nerfs in both multiplayer and battle royale ahead of the Modern Warfare 3 release date. In the former game mode, the newest assault rifle had its close damage range, close range damage amount, and upper body location damage reduced. In addition, the nerfs made to this gun in Warzone were broadly similar, as its close damage, close-mid damage, mid damage, head damage, and limb damage were all decreased.

On the other hand, the Kastov 762 only saw a prominent reduction in power within the battle royale, as Raven Software decreased its close-mid damage, head damage multiplier, neck damage multiplier, and upper torso damage multiplier. Fortunately, many of the other guns in MW2’s current arsenal were lucky enough to be spared from these glaring nerfs. If you want to learn what they all are, we’ve covered them below.
