Capcom’s announced it’ll be offering fans another peek at upcoming expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak next month.

The game’s director Yoshitake Suzuki will be on hand to reveal new gameplay info, monsters and more during the broadcast. Proceedings kick off from 3pm UK time on Tuesday, May 10 on the official Monster Hunter Twitch channel. The game’s last showcase back in March revealed a couple of new beasts, and cemented a release date in June.

In case you’ve not kept up so far, Sunbreak will take players to a brand new land across the sea from the main game‘s Kamura Village. There, you’ll set up a new base in the Elgado Outpost to take on The Three Lords. That’s the collective moniker given to three epic beasts terrorizing the Kingdom known individually as Malzeno, Lunagaron and Garangolm.

Expect a bunch of new and returning monsters to take down, with plenty of creatures from other entries in the series debuting in Rise for the first time. Thankfully, your Wirebug has also gotten some upgrades too to combat these new beasties. In fact, all fourteen weapon types have new abilities to use with your trusty tool.

Capcom’s also dropped a couple of trailers since the last Digital Event showcase featuring Garangolm gameplay and a tour of the Citadel. We’ve included them down below. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak arrives on Nintendo Switch and PC on June 30, 2022.
