According to the pages of PSM3, Hideo Kojima is preparing to reveal Metal Gear Solid 5 at E3 this summer.

The magazine wrote: “MGS maestro Hideo Kojima’s got some big announcements for E3 in June: one a quasi-logical step for an existing game, the other… well, we’d be shocked if MGS5 wasn’t on the table at some stage. Or under it. In a box.”

Earlier this year Kojima Productions was hiring for “Next Generation Metal Gear Solid Series Production Staff,” although we’d assume an E3 reveal would mean any game had been in development long before the job ad was listed.

There is of course also the highly secretive Metal Gear Solid: Rising, revealed at E3 2009, but now not expected until 2012.

PSM3’s story, however, suggests something different to Rising, perhaps MGS5, but also an extension to an existing title – a Subsistence/Substance style release for MGS4 looks possible. Or, how about an MGS4 port for NGP?
