Speculation is mounting that a release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns may be announced soon.

That’s thanks to the game appearing on the South Korean ratings board over the weekend. As Eurogamer notes, a listing for the card-based battle RPG was found and posted to the LeaksAndRumors subreddit. The “decision grade” the game was given was a 15, for things like violence and blood.

Funnily enough, it also wasn’t the only ratings board the game has popped up on in the past month. The Australian Government has also apparently seen a complete-enough version of the game to rate it M. Their listing says it includes “mature themes and supernatural violence, in-game purchases.”

Marvel’s Midnight Suns was first revealed last August. It comes from the team behind the recent XCOM games, including Jake Solomon. The plot sees a Marvel superteam made up of heroes like Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Blade and more go-up against Hydra and a resurrected evil known as Lilith. You’ll assemble your team of heroes and take them into battle using a card-based system to use your powers and biff up some baddies.

It was back in November when the game was delayed to the vague ‘second half of 2022’ window. Given we’re nearly halfway through the year, we’re certainly due a more nailed-down release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns soon. We’ll let you know when one gets announced by 2K.
