A new Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy story trailer has dropped, offering a deeper look at the misfit heroes’ upcoming adventure.

The latest video follows on from last month’s introduction of Grand Unifier Raker. He’s brought the team to the Universal Church of Truth to witness a ritual that, so Raker says, will end all suffering. Naturally, things quickly go off the rails, and it’ll be up to Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket and Drax to fix the mess they may have had a hand in starting.

We also get a glimpse of a couple of other Marvel favourites who’ll be showing up in the game. These include sentient supercomputer, the Xandarian Worldmind and Cosmo the telepathic Spacedog. The entire thing is soundtracked by a rocking metal tunes that sound like a genuine 80s hair metal troupe. However, it is in fact the fictional musicians created for the game – the Star Lord Band. If you like what you hear, the single is available now on all good online music outlets.
