There’s a bunch of additions in MW3 from new maps, new weapons and even the all-new open world zombies mode which hopefully we’ll get to see the gameplay before the CoD Next event is concluded. Before we dive into what Map Voting is all about, remember to go over our MW3 beta start time to get all the necessary beta information.

What is Map Voting in MW3?

Map voting in Modern Warfare 3 will allow players to vote for the map they want to play next. This feature was first introduced in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and it has been a popular feature in the Modern Warfare series ever since.

It’s a fantastic way to ensure that players are able to play the maps that they enjoy the most. It is also a good way to prevent players from getting bored of playing the same maps over and over again.

It’s worth adding that there are also some potential drawbacks to map voting. For example, it can lead to situations where players are constantly voting for the same few maps, which can make the multiplayer experience less diverse. Also, map voting can sometimes be abused by players who are trying to manipulate the system to their own advantage.

Overall, map voting is a positive feature that can improve the multiplayer experience for everyone and many players will be excited to see its return once again in MW3. If you’re following the CoD Next event, then you’ll want to know what you’ll be getting afterwards which we’ve detailed in our CoD Next rewards guide. In the meantime, you’ll also be happy to know that both slide and reload cancel will return in MW3 as well.
