The NFL regular season finale over a week ago was a special one, speckled with a variety of big games that finalized the 2022 Playoff Race, and for the rest of the teams, their 2023 NFL Draft positions. Well, to commemorate the close of the 2022 season, Madden 23 had its final Week 18 Team Of The Week (TOTW) reveal today before moving on from the fun program.

The final Week 18 TOTW reveal took place on ‘Good Morning Madden’ at 10:30AM ET / 3:30PM GMT, and is targeted to be released in-game today at 4PM ET / 9PM GMT. With this being the final week of the Madden 23 TOTW Program, the overall ratings have now hit current highs in MUT, with Players Of The Week, Champions, and Limited Editions all consisting of 96 overalls. On that very note, here’s the full list of Madden 23 Week 18 TOTW players.

Offensive Player Of The Week (96 Overall)

The Week 18 Offensive Player of the Week is a no brainer, and simply had to be the one and only, Buffalo Bills running back Nyheim Hines. In Week 18, Hines completed two kick returns for touchdowns for the first time since 2010 in what was an emotional game for the Bills and all they had been through following teammate Damar Hamlin’s frightening cardiac arrest incident the week prior.

With the first kick return touchdown taking place on the very first play of the game, taking it 96 yards to the house, Hines’ second kick return touchdown came mid-way through the third quarter, though this time he returned it for 101 yards. The Bills went on to win 35-23 against the Miami Dolphins, securing their spot as the second overall seed in the AFC playoff race. If it wasn’t for Hines’ heroics, this game could have fared a lot differently.

Defensive Player Of The Week (96 Overall)

The Week 18 Defensive Player Of The Week is Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman, Mike Danna. The Chiefs have looked more and more like the real Super Bowl favorites this season once again, and a key reason why has been due to their underrated defense.

In their big 31-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Danna went on to have two sacks, two forced fumbles, and three combined tackles, delivering a special performance to help seal the number one seed in the AFC for the Chiefs. The Chiefs defense has a lot of talented playmakers, many of which were still playing in that Week 18 matchup. Yet Danna still found a way to put together one fantastic performance.

Limited Editions (96 Overall)

Dating back to the Week 7 TOTW release, Madden 23 has been releasing two Limited Edition (LTD) players fans can acquire every week, one offensive and one defensive.

Both of these LTDs are always active NFL players that produced incredible performances in previous seasons on the same game week that Madden 23 is celebrating in MUT.

Because Week 18 wasn’t implemented into the NFL schedule until the 2021 regular season, these LTDs are both represented in the Playoff Program colors because of their impactful performances during Wild Card game weeks that transpired instead prior to the 2021 season.

With that said, here’s the two LTDs that were selected for the final Week 18 TOTW:

  1. Damien Lewis (LG) – Seahawks
  2. D.J. Reader (DT) – Bengals
