*LATEST* Madden 23: Week 7 TOTW

Today at 10:30AM ET, Madden 23 revealed its new Week 7 Team Of The Week (TOTW) players on its popular Live Twitch Stream, ‘Good Morning Madden’.

The NFL wrapped up another action-packed game week that highlighted many brilliant player performances that could very well be featured in this week’s TOTW selection. The Week 7 slate of games had a mixed bag of results, from blowouts, to upsets, to narrow victories and more.

That said, there’s just 12 player slots for the new TOTW format. And with Champions and Limited Editions always consisting of former and or current players that had special games in previous seasons, there’s only really eight spots available for players that rose to the occasion in this last game week.

But who made the list? Without another moments delay, here’s the full selection of Madden 23 Week 7 TOTW players you will be able to acquire starting around 4PM ET today.

Offensive Player Of The Week (92 Overall)

The Madden 23 Week 7 Offensive Player Of The Week is making his second TOTW appearance this season, and is the one and only, Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

On 20 rush attempts, Jacobs ran for 143 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught three of his four pass targets for 12 yards. Jacobs simply dominated the Texans this week in their 38-20 win and is most certainly deserving of the Offensive Player Of The Week honors.

Defensive Player Of The Week (92 Overall)

The Week 7 Defensive Player Of The Week is the elite Green Bay Packers MLB, De’Vondre Campbell and understandably so. Although the Green Bay Packers lost for a third straight time on Sunday to the Washington Commanders (23-21 final score), Campbell had one special performance that should be recognized regardless.

In the Packers loss, Campbell had 12 combined tackles, three tackles for a loss, a pass defended, and a pick six that he took for 63 yards to the house. Though the Packers came up short, Campbell did not.

Limited Editions (92 Overall)

For every TOTW drop, Madden 23 usually introduces a Limited Edition (LTD) player that fans can acquire for a limited time only. These LTDs typically celebrate active players in the NFL that had special correlating game week performances in previous seasons.

Well for the remainder of the season, MUT will now be releasing two Limited Edition players, starting with the Week 7 TOTW. Here’s the LTDs:

1. Derek Carr (QB) – Raiders

In the Raiders Week 7 win against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017, quarterback Derek Carr threw for 417 yards and three touchdowns to go with no interceptions. This special performance led him to receive one of the Week 7 LTD honors.

2. Kevin Byard (FS) – Titans

In the Titans Week 7 victory over the Cleveland Browns in 2017, free safety Kevin Byard had himself a day, tallying four combined tackles and three interceptions. You simply don’t see that very often and Madden 23 felt it was only justified to have him as their second LTD this week.

In case you missed it last week, Madden 23 is featuring ESPN Fantasy Football Analyst Matthew Berry in their TOTW drop by having him select one of the two Heroes for the remainder of the season.

If you collect all of Berry’s premium item players (i.e. his 89 overall Hero cards), you will earn an exclusive reward at the end of the season. Each 89 overall Berry Hero does come with an Account Bound (BND) 84 overall version of themselves as well, which you can secure by completing in-game challenges.

This week, Berry selected Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III, who exploded for 168 yards rushing and two touchdowns en route to a big 37-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
