Square Enix has finally set a new release date for Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection on the Nintendo Switch.

As per the announcement and via a trailer, the publisher has declared the collection – known as Life is Strange: Remastered Collection on other formats – will arrive on September 27.

There’s a trailer to mark the news, which you can see below.

The collection includes both the original Life is Strange and its follow-up prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Both games have been given a sprucing up and optimised for the Nintendo Switch, of course.

Originally, the package was set to arrive alongside the other formats, but was delayed back in January. Before that, it was intended to release alongside the latest entry, 2021’s Life is Strange: True Colors.

Regardless, it’ll mark the first time the games have been available on Nintendo’s handheld console. There’s a slight caveat with the release’s physical versions, however.

While the cartridge will include the original game in the physical release, Life is Strange Before the Storm will be provided via a download code.

Regardless, it’s still two excellent games here. If you’re unfamiliar, Life is Strange tells the story of Chloe and Max – two friends whose lives are turned upside down when Max discovers she can rewind time.
