Park management sim Jurassic World Evolution 2 arrives on consoles and PC today, so naturally there’s a launch trailer to celebrate.

The sequel sees the dinosaurs running free thanks to the events of the movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. This means you’ll be travelling beyond the ill-fated Muertes islands and building new dinosaur parks around the world. Of course, new locations mean there’s new challenges and climates to contend with as you help conserve the creatures.

You’ll join forces with movie characters Claire Dearing and Dr Ian Malcom, both voiced by their movie actor counterparts: Bryce Dallas Howard and Jeff Goldblum. And if you need more nods to the famous movie series, there’s a separate Chaos Theory mode. This one allows you to replay scenarios based on those from the movie, letting you see if you can, uh, find a way for yourself where others failed.

If none of that takes your fancy, there’s a sandbox mode too letting you create your own dinosaur park without restrictions. If you do fancy testing your park skills outside of the scenarios, the game’s Challenge mode has something for you too. Expect more than 75 species to discover and returning favourites too.
