Xbox Game Pass is getting another crop of May games, including Jurassic World Evolution 2, Sniper Elite 5, and Skate.
Five games join the service in total. Her Story, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Little Witch in the Woods, Skate, and Umurangi Generation Special Edition. On May 19th, Farming Simulator 22 and Vampire Survivors will arrive.
Then Floppy Knights and Hardspace: Shipbreaker on May 24, and Sniper Elite 5 on May 26. Finally, on the 27th, Cricket 22 and Pac-Man Museum+ will make their way onto the service.
That is a pretty good crop. Her Story is an intriguing detective game in which you sleuth through video footage. In VideoGamer’s review, Steven Burns said:
“What starts as a detective drama ends with you questioning who you’re playing as at all. A powerful achievement for a game ostensibly about ordering a video library.
“A late reveal sticks in the craw somewhat, especially in a game which expertly dissects the nature of identity. So too does the rather heavy-handed reflections in the screen that occasionally appear – mirrors being a prevailing theme – which provide a glimpse at ‘you’. But these are small missteps, and they don’t stop Her Story from being utterly unique.”
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is fun for anyone that likes dinosaurs, theme parks, or an ill-advised combination of the two. Meanwhile, Sniper Elite 5 allows you to shoot people’s heads from a great distance and view the resultant carnage in slow motion. It’s a good time to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, then.
