ARK Survival Evolved’s successor, ASA, is finally set to join consoles after being exclusive to Steam since October. It is only in early access at this moment in time, so be aware of that before ditching your ASE build. The Xbox launch is imminent and, naturally, lots of fans are wondering if ARK Survival Ascended is coming to Xbox Game Pass. There are a few remaining Game Pass titles for November 2023 and they are decent additions for subscribers.
Aside from ARK Survival Ascended, fans also ARK 2 to anticipate. It remains in development, and its first trailer revealed that it stars Vin Diesel. Alas, we won’t be seeing the Fast and Furious megastar riding dinosaurs anytime soon as ARK 2 has unfortunately been delayed to the end of 2024. This is a shame as fans have been anticipating the sequel ever since its reveal at The Game Awards 2020.
Still, while we have a year remaining and possibly longer for the sequel to come out, we can pass the time by enjoying the new remaining of ASE.
Is ARK Survival Ascended on Xbox Game Pass?
No, ARK Survival Ascended is not on Xbox Game Pass. This may come as a surprise to subscribers as ASE is on Game Pass, and ARK 2 will be available on the subscription service from day one when it eventually releases. However, as of writing, ASA is not joining Microsoft’s subscription library. It likely will join in the future, but again there’s no word on when it will happen.
The ASA release date and time countdown is imminent for Xbox players. You can download it from the Microsoft store, and it costs $44.99/£37.99. Per its Xbox partner preview, the game is crossplay with PC, and there is the ability to use mods on console. It will also be cross-platform compatible with PS5, but the PlayStation launch has been slightly delayed to early December.

Looking at the above list, it has been an excellent month for Microsoft subscribers. Football Manager 2024 is perfect for armchair coaches, Coral Island 1.0 is magnificent for fans of Stardew Valley, and Persona 5 Tactica is a delightful cocktail of Persona meets XCOM goodness. While all of the above have joined this month, be aware there are still several games leaving Game Pass before November 2023 ends.
With this month coming to an end soon, Game Pass December 2023 currently looks bare, but Microsoft players are being gifted 2023’s strongest contender for game of the year.
