It has been a really busy end to the year for Helldivers 2. Arrowhead deservedly won best multiplayer at The Game Awards, they then added vehicles in unison with the release of the Urban Legends Warbond, and just recently there has been a lot of mayhem over the game’s first official crossover. It has been a tremendous debut year for HD2, but 2025 could be even better. Nothing is official as of writing, but leaked gameplay shows off a new Helldivers 2 stratagem that looks “dope as hell”.
There has been a lot of controversy with the crossover between HD2 and Killzone. The good news is that Arrowhead has acknowledged they “missed the mark” with the prices, and now part 2 of the crossover is free. In addition, for any concerned super earth soldiers, Arrowhead has promised they remain “committed” to avoiding the sin of Call of Duty when it comes to future crossovers.
While the Killzone crossover introduces some great new content to the battlefield in space, players can expect even more additions throughout the next 12-months. So far all we have is leaks, and new gameplay shows off a Missile Silo stratagem for Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 leaked gameplay shows off new Missile Silo Stratagem
Iron_S1ghts has been a prominent leaker for Helldivers 2, and their track record includes leaking the Urban Legends Warbond and Killzone crossover before Arrowhead’s official announcements. Now they have leaked gameplay of a Missile Silo Stratagem for HD2 in the future.
The leaked gameplay shows it bears the description of a “Hellpod-sized missile solo, for long-range destruction”. It also “Includes a remote to select a target and initiate launch”. Below are the stats in the gameplay:
- Call-In Time – 7.75 seconds
- Uses – Unlimited
- Cooldown Time – 203 seconds

As for the gameplay, Iron_S1ghts shows the stratagem being called down before sending the missile into the heavens for it to crash and cause a massive explosion. In addition to Iron_S1ghts on X, the gameplay has also been uploaded by YouTuber, John Helldiver.
In the comments on X, people have called the stratagem “dope as hell,” meanwhile, on YouTube, there are a lot of excited replies. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of when the stratagem will arrive, plus this is a leak rather than anything official.
