Helldivers 2 fans can look forward to free content soon as today marks just one month until Liberty Day 2025. October is set to be a big month for HD2 as Arrowhead have confirmed their next update will arrive roughly around mid-October, and it should deliver significant improvements although not all the major performance issues will be resolved. While we’re looking forward to the next update and praying that it delivers monumental improvements as intended, soon after players will be celebrating Liberty Day, with the Xbox community joining the celebrations for the very first time.
When is Helldivers 2 Liberty Day 2025?
Liberty Day for Helldivers 2 is October 26th. Arrowhead haven’t announced anything for the event yet, but the series’ tradition is free content.
For last year, Arrowhead organized a fun competition players could participate in online, and the developer also released a “mandatory briefing” for all Super Earth soldiers to watch.
However, more importantly, we received some free content in the form of the Helldivers 1 Veteran’s Armor combined with the R-2124 Constitution Rifle. Arrowhead also gave away a Pelican Gunship Extraction Skin. We don’t know what free content will arrive this year, but hopefully we get another piece of armor based on HD1.
Shortly after Liberty Day last year, Arrowhead released the Truth Enforcers Warbond on October 31st. While nothing is official, it’s expected that we will see the release of the next Helldivers 2 Warbond in October as Dust Devils came out on September 4th. Typically, Warbonds come out every six-to-seven weeks, meaning the next bundle should arrive roughly around October 16th.
We’re looking forward to Liberty Day, and this year should be extra special with Xbox recruits joining in the celebrations for the first time. Hopefully Arrowhead will deliver another great spectacle that surpasses last year’s offerings.
