Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox in just over a month. This is a landmark moment achieved by Arrowhead as it will be the first PlayStation-published game to release on Microsoft consoles. One of the bonuses coming with the Xbox launch is a new Warbond Token for the Super Citizen edition. With the launch nearing, Arrowhead has provided an explanation of the Helldivers 2 Warbond Token that will “allow players to claim any Premium Warbond without spending Super Credits”.
Helldivers 2 devs explain Warbond Token
Arrowhead Support has provided an explanation of the Warbond Token for Helldivers 2. This is something that comes as a bonus with the Super Citizen edition of the game on Xbox.
Per Arrowhead, the Warbond Token will “allow players to claim any Premium Warbond without spending Super Credits on it”. In addition, it is “replacing ‘Steeled Veterans’ within the Super Citizen edition of the game” that was sold on PlayStation.
If you buy the Super Citizen edition for Xbox, following the release on Microsoft consoles, the token should automatically be added to your inventory. As for how to use it, the token is available if, when browsing Warbonds, you see the option to “Claim Premium Warbond” instead of “Buy Premium Warbond”.
Now for PlayStation players who previously bought the Super Citizen edition or upgrade prior to the forthcoming Xbox release. If you have “bought Super Citizen, and already owned Steeled Veterans prior to buying it, and you were not granted 1000 SC by sending a request to player support, you will be given the token a little while after it goes live” on August 26th.
Because tokens are on the way for Super Citizen edition owners still not granted a 1,000 SC reimbursement, this means “Player Support [is] no longer able to manually grant 1000 SC upon request”. Arrowhead are also unable to “manually grant this token” ahead of the Xbox release, so eligible players will just need to wait.

- ‘DP-53 Savior of the Free’ Armour Set.
- ‘Will of the People’ Cape.
- ‘MP-98 Knight’ Weapon.
- Super Citizen Status.
- Stratagem Hero Ship Game.
- Premium Warbond Token.
