The next Helldivers 2 Warbond, Masters of Ceremony, is on the cusp of coming out. While the content is exciting, a lot of HD2 fans have been craving another crossover since the collaboration with Killzone back at the end of 2024. Arrowhead has previously discussed the possibility of more crossovers, and now the Helldivers 2 CEO has told EA to “get in touch” over a dream collaboration that would be sick.
Helldivers 2 CEO tells EA to “get in touch” for crossover
The only crossover Helldivers 2 has enjoyed so far is with Killzone. This happened back in December 2024, and since then fans have been craving more collaborations. Arrowhead are understandably very selective about collaborations as they have rejected the idea of crossing over with certain IPs such as Star Wars due to not fitting the Helldivers aesthetic.
While crossovers with certain IPs will not happen, Arrowhead CEO, Shams Jorjani, has just stated a HD2 collaboration with Dead Space is “not impossible”. On Discord, a user messaged Jorjani asking, “Since you want to only do collabs with IPs that wouldn’t be too unrealistic in lore, have u ever considered Dead Space?”. The Arrowhead CEO responded, “Not impossible. EA! If you read this and want it – get in touch!!”.
This is fantastic to hear. It doesn’t mean a Helldivers 2 x Dead Space collaboration will happen, but it’s at least good to hear that it’s an IP Arrowhead would be willing to team up with if EA “get in touch”.
The prospect of a HD2 and Dead Space Warbond brings a lot of ideas. New armor could easily be Issac Clarke’s default classic gear from Dead Space 1 and 2, meanwhile, an ideal weapon would be the iconic Plasma Cutter.
Away from Dead Space, another IP that Arrowhead has said they’re open to collaborating with is Warhammer 40K. While nothing is officially in-development, a Warhammer 40K melee weapon has possibly leaked.
